Chocolate Bread Pudding
Bread pudding dates back centuries. It was created originally to make something delicious out of stale bread so as not to waste food. Today bread pudding is still a popular dish but we use fresh ingredients, such as gourmet breads and things like nuts & chocolate to make this a dessert to remember!

- Favorite white bread, favorite wheat bread, eggs, condensed milk, whole milk, favorite chocolate bar (chopped), raisins, white sugar, vanilla extract
- Cut bread into cubes, 4-5 cups, and place in a loaf pan
- Beat 3 eggs in a bowl until frothy, then add 3/4 cup sugar, 1 tsp vanilla extract and then add 2 cups of milk & beat well
- Pour the milk mixture over the bread and toss together adding in the raisins & chopped chocolate bar
- Let soak for 30 minutes; while the bread soaks, heat the oven to 300 degrees
- Bake for 45 minutes or until custard is set
- Serve warm or cold, with whipped cream or ice cream
